About Kate

Kate is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in Mental Health.  She has worked throughout Australia and Ireland specifically in the area of complex trauma.  Kate has developed and facilitated numerous training packages in trauma and attachment for organizations working with children and adolescents who have experienced abuse and neglect.

 

She also has an interest in mood disorders, anxiety, domestic violence and eating disorders. Kate strives to provide a non-judgmental, safe and supportive experience where clients feel free to focus on their own goals. A main focus of her work is on integrating body and mind using evidence-based interventions including schema therapy, trauma focused CBT and attachment informed practise.

 

Kate also has an interest in child and youth issues and is trained in a number of family focused programs including Circle of Security and narrative therapy.

About Dr. Anita Nepean-Hutchison

Dr. Anita Nepean-Hutchison is an experienced Psychologist with full registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA). In addition to her Psychology training, she holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.), and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

 

Anita is warm and compassionate, and strongly believes in taking a skills and evidenced-based approach to therapy with her clients. She can assist them in improving emotion regulation, interpersonal skills, and developing acceptance during their recovery.

 

She has strong interests in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders and a special interest in anti-natal and parenting support. The focus of her research has been in the screening and treatment of Perinatal Mental Health, particularly anxiety with a strong interest in parenting and intergenerational transfer.

 

Anita accepts referrals for support with wellbeing during pregnancy and following birth, parenting, older adolescents and adults with all mental health issues including depression, anxiety, personality, behavioural and addiction issues.  Anita also offers Pregnancy Support Counselling.  This Medicare scheme gives rebates for up to three sessions with a referral and where the person has had a pregnancy within the last twelve months (current or recent).  Click here for more information on Perinatal Mental Health .

 

Anita has extensive training in multiple psychotherapeutic modalities and is certified in a number of assessment practices and programmes including certified in Circle of Security an assessment and treatment provider.

 

Anita is a fully accredited Psychology trainee supervisor and is accepting provisionally registered psychologists who require supervision to meet the general registration pathway criteria

About Charlotte

Charlotte is an experienced clinical psychologist with a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, ante-natal and post-natal care, child and youth issues, trauma, eating disorders, attachment issues and parenting support.

 

Charlotte is trained and experienced in using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT), mindfulness and family focused programs such as Circle of Security.

 

Charlotte is warm and empathic and provides a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to open up and feel heard. She works form a wholistic perspective helping clients to live meaningful and fulfilling lives through strengthening the mind-body connection, improving emotion regulation skills, strengthening relationships, building on interpersonal skills, empowering clients through knowledge and psycho-education, and improving self-worth

About Dr Laura Moon

Dr Laura Moon is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with experience working in community, hospital, and private practice settings with clients across the lifespan. Laura has worked with a variety of presentations including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, attachment issues, parenting support, adjustment difficulties and neurodevelopmental disorders. Laura has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood anxiety, improving emotion regulation skills, enhancing social skills and working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). 

 

Laura is trained and experienced in a variety of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and attachment and relationship frameworks. Laura is trained in a number of family focused programs including Circle of Security, Fear-Less Triple P, Standard Stepping Stones Triple P, Do As I Do and Facing Your Fears anxiety management programs, and PALS social skills program. 

 

Laura is warm, compassionate, and understanding. She works collaboratively with clients to implement evidence-based strategies to support the individual.

  • Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours (University of Queensland, 2009)
